LEBLANC, Francis J. and LeBlanc, Elizabeth J. of Moncton both passed away on September 23, 2013 and December 28, 2013.
Francis was born in Moncton, NB on March 21, 1923 he was the son of the late Thomas and Kate (Leger) LeBlanc.
Elizabeth was born in Yarmouth, NS on August 23, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Comeau) Sweeney.
Francis and Elizabeth where married in April 8, 1953 and where happily married for 60 years.They are survived by their children; Michael LeBlanc, Robert LeBlanc, Elizabeth’s sister Evelyn (Aunt Nicky) Muise, grandchildren; Ashley, Elliott, Olivia, Jason, Kaleb, Christa and their many nieces and nephews
Aside from Francis’s parents, he was predeceased by brothers; Gerald, Laurie and John (Jack).
Aside from Elizabeth’s parents she was predeceased by her brother Jack and her sister Dorothy.
Francis was a WW II veteran, he served the 14th Field Ambulance.
In keeping with their wishes, there was no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 2:00 pm following a Legion service. Interment will take place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations in their memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
