SMITH, TOM - August 22nd, 1923 - August 10th, 2014 - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Dad and Grampy. Tom was born 90 years ago in Burntisland, Scotland and moved with his family to Canada in 1963. He worked for Saint John Shipbuilding as a foreman for 26 years, but salmon fishing was his passion. Married to Elizabeth Smith (deceased 2003) for 58 years, he leaves behind his son Tom Smith Jr. (Carol Smith), his daughter, Sandra McKinnon (Terry McGivery), six lovely grandchildren and nine beautiful great-grandchildren.
A service and reception will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424) at 12 noon on August 14th, 2014. Following will be a family interment at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
