Marylou Ella Roman July 3, 1933 - August 5, 2014
Marylou Ella Roman (Coe) passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Marylou was predeceased by her loving husband Donald, sister Marjorie and mother Tina. She is survived by her four kids, Don (Karen), Randy (Barb), Trevor (Diane), Lori (Bruce), sister Shirley Wilson, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Marylou was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and after she married her childhood sweetheart Don, they started off on their journey with the Canadian Pacific Railway. This journey took them to Regina, Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and in retirement, Moose Jaw, Kelowna & Golden.
Marylou spent most of her life knitting. Her beautiful works of art can be found on babies, kids, adults from coast to coast. You could always find Marylou sitting on her recliner knitting, this was her pride and passion. Marylou was always up for a visit and was not only a great family story teller but a true historian for world events, news and of course the entertainment world. She loved her family, kids, pets, and people.
It is with sadness that we say goodbye but in happiness that she will now be rejoined with her true love. Many people have mentioned that Don and Marylou are probably busy making cabbage rolls for everyone in heaven. No more pain.
