Passed peacefully away on August 9, 2014, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, following a short but very courageous battle with cancer, Monica Fleming, of St. Stephen's, SMB, aged 57 years. Predeceased by parents James & Hannah Fagan, sister Helen, brothers Gus, Eddie, granddaughter Baby Grace, parents-in-law William & Pauline Fleming and brothers-in-law Don and Albert. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, husband Michael, daughter Courtney (Justin), sons Christopher, Curtis (Carol Anne), Cherished granddaughter Hannah; sisters: Imelda (Adrian) English, Bernadette (Gerald) Lee, Mary (Steve) Comerford, Colleen (Garry) James, Kimberley (David Gibbons), brothers Gabe (Mary), Pat (Paulette), sister-in-law Catherine Fagan, brother-in-law Art Gibbons, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Fleming family and many nieces and nephews, especially Jackie, Lacey, Valerie and Steve who were there to comfort her during her final days, and other relatives and friends. The family extends a sincere thank you and appreciation to all her friends at Deep Atlantic Sea Products, her card game buddies and especially her best friend, Shirley Fleming. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Fr. Battcock Memorial Chapel, St. Vincent's, on Monday, August 11, from 7 - 9pm and Tuesday, August 12, beginning at 10am.
