HANLEY, PETER ELDON - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on August 13, 2014; Mr. Peter Eldon Hanley, beloved husband of Shelly(Lambert) Hanley. He was born in Etobicoke, ON on June 15, 1968 to Eldon and Marilyn (Chambers) Hanley. A loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He is survived by his wife Shelly of Richardson; daughter, Jazmine Hanley of Richardson; son, Joshua Hanley (Vicky Johnson) of Richardson; grandchildren: Jamie Hanley and Leah McGuire; parents, Eldon and Marliyn Hanley of Pennfield; brother Kevin (Kelly) of Pennfield; sisters: Wendy Hawkins (Paul) of Pennfield, Edra Hanley (Derek) of Black’s Harbour and Melissa Hanley (Doug Gomke) of St. Martin’s; mother-in-law, Faye Lambert; nieces, Kalie, Karisa, Kelsie, Malloreigh and Tori; nephews: Keith, Blayne, Blake and Kaleb and several aunts uncles and cousins. Peter will especially by his dog, Adigale Poopster. Prior to his illness, Peter worked in the aquaculture industry for GMG Fish Services of St. George. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, nature and spending time with his grandchildren. Peter enjoyed playing hockey and baseball and had a passion for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium with visiting on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and from the Lamberts Cove Baptist Church on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm. The service will be held from the church on Monday at 2 pm with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating followed by interment at Mount Hope Cemetery. In Peters memory, remembrances to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. www.stgeorgefh.ca
