Sylvester will be lovingly remembered by his three children: Joanne Tobin (Derek), Lisa Long (Doug), Glenn (Reneé); grandchildren: Julia, Krista, Kate and Jacob; step-grandchildren: Bob, Steven, Michael, Patrick and Blake; step- great-grandchild: Matthew; sister Helen Haché; sisters-in-law: Betty (Eddie), Ellen, Sophie (Joe), Linda (Marcus), Nada (Steve); brothers-in-law: Steve (June), Ed, Max (Linda), Albert (Marg), Wayne, Randy (Mary); as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Louise, brother Gordon and parents John and Julia. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 18th at 2:00 pm from Sacred Heart Parish, Curling Street with Father Maurice O’Quinn officiating.
