WOOD, PAULA JEAN - The passing of Paula Jean Wood, wife of Jack Wood of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 25, 1949 in Woodstock, NB, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ruby (York) Derrah. Paula retired from the Department of Justice. She enjoyed knitting and was an avid reader. In addition to her husband, Paula is survived by her daughter, Jacqui M. Pickel (Dale) of Woodstock, NB; son, Andrew J. Wood (Michelle) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jonathan, Chelsea, Ceilidh, Nicholas, Alex, Amanda, Brieanna, Connor, Danica; one great grandson; brother, Dana Derrah (Elaine) of Geary, NB; sisters, Linda Perkins (Ernest) of Florenceville, NB, Bonita Maillet (Charles) of Florenceville, NB; several nieces and nephews; and her long time dear friend, Diane.
