CALLAGHAN, LENNIE - The death occurred at the Summerset Manor, Summerside, PE, on Saturday, August 16, 2014, of Lennie Callaghan, of Summerside and formerly of Moncton, NB, aged 93 years. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Adele (Scott) Betz. Survived by her husband Desmond Callaghan; daughter Theo Smith, Langley, BC; son Stephen Appleby, Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Glenn, Tanya and Monty; step-children Linda Callaghan (Tom LeBlanc), Ron (Betty) Callaghan, Patsy (George) Piercey, Norma (Terry) Walsh, Heather (Pat) Huges; and by 14 step-grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband George Appleby and by one sister Theo Betz.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will later take place in Moncton, NB. Visitation is on Tuesday from 10:00 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund would be appreciated. www.moase.ca
