Rintoul, Jean (nee Stewart)
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother Jean on 12 August 2014 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of Lloyd Alexander for 63 years and mother of Beth, Bob and Brian. Pre-deceased by her parents Charles and Julia Stewart, her sister Margaret and her brother Ernest. Our mother loved to sing and was a longtime member of the Woodroffe United Church choir and the Orpheus Coral Group. Jean suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease for many years. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would by appreciated. A special thank you to the staff of 2 North at Extendicare Starwood for taking such good care of her. Service to be held on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at 2 pm at Woodroffe United Church, 207 Woodroffe Ave, Ottawa. Reception to follow.
