LeBLANC, CAPT. PAUL (R22eR RET.) - Capt. Paul LeBlanc (R22eR Ret.) of Memramcook East, passed away in Chicoutimi, Québec of a motorcycle accident on Sunday, August 17, 2014, at the age of 66. Born on January 7, 1948, in Memramcook, he was the son of the late Alyre LeBlanc and the late Antoinette LeBlanc. He was a Paratrooper with Canadian Airborne Regiment (1972-82); He worked on many naval ships as a Watchkeeping Mate; He worked as a correctional officer until his retirement (1990-12). He will be sadly missed by his wife Maria; two sons, Alexis (Annie) LeBlanc of Chicoutimi and Félix (Mylène) LeBlanc of Moncton; and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 20 from 7 to 9 pm, Thursday, August 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Friday, August 22nd from 9:30 to 10:15. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Thomas de Memramcook Church, Saint-Joseph on Friday, August 22 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery at Notre Dame de Lourdes church.
