Peacefully and surrounded by family at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O'Leary on Sunday August 17, 2014 of Anna Leone Gamble of Gibsons, B.C., formerly of Cascumpec, aged 55 years, beloved wife of Bruce MacLeod. Anna was born in O'Leary on June 17, 1959, cherished daughter of Jean (nee Ramsay) and the late Heber Gamble. Anna is survived by her sisters Helen Gamble, Cascumpec; Minerva Gamble-Hardy (Andrew), Summerside and Heather Gamble-Silliker (David)Cascumpec and her beautifu dog "Bella" She is also survived by mother in law Mary Theresa MacLeod, Sydney, N.S.; sisters and brothers in law: Brian (Judi) MacLeod, Sydney, N.S.; Susan MacLeod, Sydney, N.S.; Duncan (Michelle) MacLeod, Truro, N.S.; Linda MacLeod, Halifax, N.S.; Mary Theresa (Martin) Ross, Halifax, N.S.; Barbara (Allan) MacPherson, Sydney, N.S.; Hugh (Heather)MacLeod, Halifax, N.S.; grandmother Laura Ramsay, O'Leary; special nieces and nephews; Jacob Gamble, Hannah Hardy, Ardyn Hardy, Dawson Silliker, Bryce Silliker and Brant Hudson along with several nieces and nephews on the MacLeod side of the family and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by her father, father in law Duncan MacLeod, grandfather Keir Ramsay and brother in law Shaun MacLeod. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary with private family arrangements. In memory of Anna, memorials to the PEI Humane Society would be appreciated.
