GALLANT, GEORGETTE - 1933 - 2014 - Georgette Gallant, 81, of O’Bon Soins, Shediac, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Born April 26, 1933 in Grand-Barachois, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Monique (Gallant) Gallant. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 61 years, Euclide; one daughter, Patricia Prince (Jacques) of Shediac; three sons: Roland (Rachel) of Shediac, Réjean (Diane Blainey) and Serge (Lucila) both of Grand-Barachois; two sisters: Sara Boudreau (Laurie) of Shediac and Berthe Cormier of Haute-Aboujagane; one brother: Gonzague of Grand-Barachois; six grandchildren: Joceline, Diane, Joel, Brian, Kevin and Cinthia; seven great-grandchildren: Nicho, Dax, Jacob, Justin, Marco, Brady and Danik; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters: Bernadette and Alice; seven brothers: Edmond, Camille, Alphonse, Ulric, Omer, Stanislas “Tass” and Thomas “Tommy”.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shédiac (532-3297) on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 9:30 am until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Henri Roman Catholic Church in Grand-Barachois on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
