It is with great sadness the family of Leroy Pope of Bay L'argent announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on August 12th at the age of 82 years.
Leaving to mourn wife Barbara; sons Rodney (Freda) of Lab City, Leroy (Jennifer) of AB, Carl of AB and David (Alana) of St. John's; daughter Gail Fontaine of Bay L'argent; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters Ada Pitcher (Bert), Amy White and Emily Bungay (Charle) plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by brother Thomas Pope.
Cremation has taken place.Visitation will take place from St. Hilda's Anglican Church, Bay L'argent Friday, August 15th at 11am.
Rev.Jeff Blackwood officiated Funeral Service from St. Hilda's Anglican Church, Bay L'argent on Saturday, August 16th at 2pm with inurnment following at Anglican Cemetery, Bay L'argent.
