CORMIER, AURELE - Aurele Cormier of Memramcook East passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Center on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at the age of 79. Born on February 17, 1935 in Memramcook East, he was the son of the late Athanas Cormier and the late Elizabeth Doucette. He was a woodsman until his retirement. He will be sadly missed by his special friend Rose-Marie Melanson; one daughter, Freda LeBlanc of Moncton; six sons, Roger (Monique), Ronald (Louise), Fernand (Emerise) all of Memramcook, Arthur of Moncton, Noel of Haute du Ruisseau and Larry (Jacinthe) of Memramcook East; six grandchildren; two sisters, Freda (late Emery) LeBlanc of Waltham and Yvonne (late Yvon) Cormier of St-Joseph; three brothers, Albert of Dieppe, Leo of Waltham and Leandre (Lorette) Cormier of College Bridge and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Lea and by two sisters Therese and Beatrice.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Friday, August 22 from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes church, Memramcook East on Friday, August 22 at 7:00 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
