BLINN, (Franklyn) Wade, Age 67 years of Peterborough, Ontario (formerly of Newport Station, Hants Co., NS). It is with deep sadness that the family of Wade announces his passing on July 28, 2014 at Peterborough Regional Hospital in Peterborough, ON surrounded by his loving family. Born in Windsor, Hants Co., NS on March 10, 1947, he was the son of the late Frank and Bernice (Flynn) Blinn. Wade’s family was his pride and joy and playing guitar and singing were his passions. Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Pat (Ryan) Blinn; children, Geoffrey (Katy) Blinn; Rodney (Laura) Blinn and Ryan Blinn all of Peterborough, ON; two grandchildren, Kristin and Farrah; one great grandchild, Noah; sisters Roxanne (Mike) Hunter of Ashland Road, NS and Sherri (Reuben) Blanchard of Ste. Croix, NS. Besides his parents, Wade was predeceased by his sister, Paulette (Blinn) Sanford and brother, Darroll Blinn. Cremation has taken place and private family arrangements have been made in Peterborough, ON.
