Passed away after a lengthy illness at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island in her 78 year. Leaving to mourn 9 children; Cynth (Bob); Valerie (Chris); Mary (Dave); Keith(Sharon); Shawn (Tammy); Wayne (Kelly); Barry(Karen); Blair; Kimmy (Marc) and daughter-in-law Betty. Siblings: Ida; Mill; Francis (Trish). Loving "G" "G" of 23 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by husband John, loving son Kevin; parents Patrick and Helen Whalen; 2 sisters, 3 brothers. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass Monday 11.00 a.m at St. Michael Church. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bell Island,NL.
