August 7, 1922 - July 27, 2014. Passed away peacefully at Sunny View Retirement Community in Cupertino, California, Brenda M. Condon (née Kelly), just prior to her 92nd birthday. Predeceased by her husband, Gordon B. Condon, in 2010, brother Urban (Frank) Kelly, and parents, Charles and Agnes Kelly, of St. John's, NL. She and her husband, Gordon, were born and raised in St. John's, NL, but settled in San José, California in the late 1950s. Leaving to mourn long time family friend, Bernard Long, and his son, Brian Long, who helped her through these last few years, and her nieces, Brenda Gregoire and Denise Richards, both of Calgary, Alberta. Brenda had a long career as a legal secretary, starting in St. John's, NL, then with a number of law firms in the Santa Clara Valley area, and lastly with Santa Clara County. She liked gardening, eating out, her beloved Shelties and was an avid bridge player. Many thanks to the caring staff at Sunny View. Interment will take place at Los Gatos Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to honour her memory may do so through a donation to St. Patrick's Mercy Home Foundation in St. John's, NL.
