Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday August 31, 2014, Mrs. Joyce Eileen Clarke of Spaniard’s Bay, age 87 years. Predeceased by her husband George and son Raymond, parents Absolom and Katie Sheppard, sisters: Florence, Phyllis, Bertha, Emma, and Jean, brother Nathaniel, and grandson Claude Clarke. Leaving to mourn daughters and sons: Sandra (Kevin Barrett), Barbara (Nathan Barrett), David (Bernadette), Beverly (Joe Dwyer), Georgia (Hayward Butler), 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 2 daughters-in-law: Sandra and Michelle, special nephew Paul Whalen, special friend Noreen Holmes and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rested at Lynch’s Funeral Home, Spaniard’s Bay. Funeral service was held Tuesday, Sept. 2 from Holy Redeemer Anglican Church, Spaniard’s Bay with interment at Maul Tree Hill.
