Born French River, September 7, 1915, son of the late William Chelmsford "Chem" and Ameila (Profitt) MacLeod. Husband of the late Georgie F. (Campbell) MacLeod. Father of Carl (Sybil) MacLeod, Burlington, Ont., and Bev (Jack) Gunning, Summerside. Grandfather of Darryl Gunning, Deirdra Ferguson and Blake (Kerri) MacLeod. Great-grandfather of Jamie and Mandy Ferguson; Noah, Liam and Ryan MacLeod. Brother-in-law of Maude MacNeill, Charlottetown. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Marion Warren Webster and Vera Sinclair. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Sunday, Sept. 7, from 1-2 p.m. Brethren of Mount Zion Lodge #12, Kensington, will hold a Masonic Memorial Service in the Chapel immediately following the visitation, then followed by the funeral service. Interment in Geddie Memorial Cemetery, Spring Brook. If so desired contributions may be made to the Kensington United Church, Geddie Memorial Cemetery Fund or Mount Zion Lodge #12, Kensington.
