Dorothy Thelma Slade, a resident of the Northside Guest Home, passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014.
Born in Salmon Cove, Nfld., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Gladys (Trickett) Peach.
Dorothy was a member of St. Andrew’s United Church, Sydney.
Surviving are her son, Bruce, Toronto and sister, Jean Casteel, South Dakota.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Leslie; sister, Grace MacLeod and brothers, Clayton and Bert.
A memorial service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Sunday 2 p.m., with Rev. Gary Burrill officiating. Following the service, a time of fellowship will be held in our reception area.
