Peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2014, at Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, Ont., in his 78th year. Survived by Pauline and his children Royce (Heidi), Susan, Terry (Charlene), the late George, Cindy (Frank), Wendy (Wayne), Harold and Shawn (Barb). Loving grandfather of John Michael, Mindy, Ilia, Alex, Avalon, Jason, Danielle, Gavin, Corey, Kassandra, Cody and Patrick. He will be sadly missed by his many great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 2-4 and 7–9 p.m. and on Thursday from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E., Cobourg, with the funeral service on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 12 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will take place on Thursday at 3 p.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens, 33 Memory Gardens Lane, Markham, Ont. Donations to the Asthma Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
