BACH, ELAINE - At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, September 8, 2014, Mrs. Elaine Bach of Royal Road and formerly of New Denmark passed away at the age of 88 years. She was the wife of the late Thomas Lajoie by first marriage and of the late Ova Bach by second marriage. Born at Plaster Rock in 1925, she was a daughter of the late David Allen and Jessie Loretta (Hemion) Harding. She is survived by her son Mark Lajoie of Royal Road, one brother, Frank Harding of BC, two sisters, Dorothy Tompkins of Anfield and Phyllis Aube (Camille "Bun") of Edmundston, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Harry, Norval and Arnold Harding, sisters Marion Gray, Shirley Hailey and Audrey Briggs.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Friday, September 12th at 2 p.m. from the funeral home with Rev. Keith Howlett officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Denmark.
