RICHARD, GERALD - 1923 - 2014 - Gerald Richard, 90, of Dieppe, NB, passed away on Friday, September 12th, 2014, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Amédée and the late Marie-Blanche (née: Hebert) Richard. He was a carpenter by trade. He is survived by his wife, Lina (née: Gosselin); three daughters: Gloria (Larry) Lemieux of Dorchester, Yvonne (Arthur) Auffrey of Moncton and Roberte (Camille) Caissie of Dieppe; four sons: Guy of Montreal, QC, Maurice of Shediac, Eugene (Lina) and Jean (Claudette), both of Dieppe; one daughter-in-law, Louise of Dieppe; 12 grandchildren: Ernest, Charlotte, Bertin, Rejean, Denis, Luc, Marie-Anne, Marc, Chantal, Gaétan, Mélanie and Christian; 11 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sons: Robert and Yvon; five sisters: Emilia, Adele, Emma, Sara and Florida; two brothers: Pierre and Joe and also by one grandson, Jean-Luc.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. Funeral mass will be celebrated from Notre-Dame-de-Lorette Roman Catholic Church, (Lakeburn) on Tuesday, September 16th, 2014 at 11 am.
