WALLACE, UNA MARIE (WALLACE) - 1939 - 2014 - It is with great sadness the family announces the death of Una Marie Wallace on September 13, 2014. She passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Moncton City Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Born June 15, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Laura (Callahan) and the late Phillip Wallace of Tabusintac, NB. She is survived by her children, Marsha Grattan of Bible Hill, NS, and Michael Grattan of Moncton, two grandchildren, Ali of Edmonton, and Thomas of Halifax, a sister Sandra Savoie (Aldrice) of Riverview NB, and brother Thomas Wallace (Irene Mikawoz) of Winnipeg, as well as a niece, Tanya of Moncton and nephew Christian of Calgary. Una Marie grew up in Tabusintac, NB and spent most of her life in Moncton and Miramichi, NB. She was employed for several years as a Federal Civil Servant in Miramichi, NB, subsequently spending her retirement years in Moncton, NB. She was a vibrant woman, and a kind and compassionate friend to many during her life often extending a helpful hand to those in need.
