JOHN SNOOK
June 5, 1944 – September 27, 2014

It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Snook announces his passing on Saturday, September 27th at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 70. Born at St. Alban's, John was the son of the late Hubert and Mercedes (nee Farrell) Snook. He was predeceased by his infant daughter Tammy Michelle Snook in February of 1974 at the age of three years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Mary of 47 years, his children: Johnny Snook Isle aux Morts and Tammy (Albert) Herritt Burnt Islands, proud grandfather of Pauline Herritt Burnt Islands, and Nolan (Kelsey) Herritt Burnt Islands and proud great-grandfather of Noah Lomond. He will forever remain in the hearts of his brothers and sisters: Annie May (Garfield) Walters Isle aux Morts, Stella Hodder St. Bernards, Lawrence (Carrie) Snook Isle aux Morts, Mike (Minnie) Snook St. Alban's, Wayne (Lydia) Snook St. Alban's, Christine (Chris) Willcott St. Alban's, Glenn Snook Vancouver BC, and Glenda Snook St. Alban's, brother-in-law William (Diane) Bryan Isle aux Morts, sisters-in-law Elizabeth Harvey Isle aux Morts, Janie Anderson Halifax, NS, Melvina Bryan Isle aux Morts and June (Calvin) Durnford Rose Blanche. Visitation began on Monday, September 29th beginning in the morning and continued on Tuesday, September 30 at Holy Spirit Anglican Church, Isle aux Morts. Funeral service took place on Wednesday, October 1st at Holy Spirit Anglican Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Maryrose Colbourne officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Anglican Cemetery, Isle aux Morts road. Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the family.
