The death occurred at her late residence, on Friday, September 26, 2014, of Willina Harriet Gillis of Ellerslie, aged 82. Born in Ellerslie on December 29, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Pearl (Oatway) Gillis. Dear mother to Wendell (Patti) Gillis, Ellerslie. Willina is survived by her grandsons Timothy, Ellerslie, and Ethan, Moncton. Predeceased by her parents and daughter Cythina. Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with a graveside service on Friday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m. at the Bideford-Conway United Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation by family request. In memory of Willina, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society of P.E.I. would be appreciated.
