We the family, are saddened to announce the passing of our dear mother Patricia Walke. She passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 30, 2014, with her loving family, including her dog Nicki, by her side.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Born in Sydney Mines on July 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Tobin) Campbell.
Pat is survived by her son, Sydney (Marian); daughters, Marilyn (Dan Krauch) and Anne (Donnie) Quinn; grandchildren, Cheryl Walke, Kim (Gordie) Finney and Stacey (Barry Babin) as well as great-grandchildren, Shayla MacDougall, Corey Babin and Grayson Finney.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Sid; daughter, Jackie; grandson, Corey Walters; brothers, Charlie and Bill Campbell, and sister, Maytell O'Connell.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, Oct. 4th from 12-1 p.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Sydney Mines. Funeral service to follow at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church at 2 p.m.
Funeral arrangements are under the guidance and care of Jim & Kate Young of Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines.
