Dr. Robert Gordon Forsythe died suddenly on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the age of 91 at his home in Charlottetown, P.E.I. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy (Andrew) for 62 years, amazing father to Dr. Pamela Forsythe (Dr. Gary Costain), Rothesay, N.B. and Dr. Andrew Forsythe (Kathleen), Whangari, New Zealand; very proud grandfather of Jeffrey Costain (Alexa Evans), Aurora, ON; Dr. Nicholas Costain (Erin), Ottawa, ON; Dr. Gregory Costain (Dr. Danielle Baribeau), Toronto, ON: Emma Costain, Ottawa, ON; Brenna and Alana Forsythe, Whangari, NZ and one great-granddaughter Zoe Costain, Ottawa, ON.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Merritt and Sadie Forsythe, siblings Harold, Alan and Jean (Larabee). He is survived by his sister Betty Hogan, brother Douglas (Kaye) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Thursday from St. Paul’s Anglican Church at 10 a.m. Interment later in Sherwood Cemetery.
