CUNNINGHAM, WINSOR - It is with deep sadness, the family announces the death of C. Winsor Cunningham of Belleisle Creek, NB, husband of Frances (Mercer) Cunningham, which occurred on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with his family at his side. He was born on June 20, 1941 in Searsville, NB, a son of the late Charles and Vida (Hayes) Cunningham. Winsor is survived by his much loved and cherished wife of 50 years Frances Cunningham; he was the beloved father to daughters; Cindy Boyd and her husband Andrew of Belleisle Creek, NB and Kim Fulford and her husband Brad of Sussex Corner, NB; he greatly loved and was tremendously proud of his grandchildren; Jody, Kory, Ashley, Kaylee and Baleigh; he was delighted at the birth of his great-grandchildren Willow and Chloee. He is also survived by sister Ruth Brown and her husband Glen of McGregor Brook, NB; aunt Ida Higgins; he will be remembered and sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by sister Marguerite Otis.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, where visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service, conducted by Rev. Tom Robinson, will be held from Kings Kirk United Church at 11:00 am, on Saturday, October 11, 2014. Interment will take place in Midland Cemetery. Donations to the Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
