Born March 29, 1945, died October 14, 2014. Leaving to mourn sister Shirley Cormier of New Brunswick and brother David of St. John's. Cremation and private interment with his mother Helen has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Having lost his mother at the age of 3, Chesley had a very difficult but fulfilling life under the care of his beloved brother David. Chesley was a hero to the boys of Mount Cashel Orphanage by exposing the injustices and reporting them to the Authorities which led to a Judicial Inquiry. In his later years as a bus driver, Chesley loved to drive young children to school. He was a gentle giant, loved by many. Special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses at St. Clare's especially in the ICU. Their care was exceptional. God bless them!
