BABINEAU, ELISE - 1912 - 2014 - Elise Babineau, 102, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Bouctouche, on Wednesday, October 15th, 2014. She was married to the late Fidèle Babineau (1999),they resided in Saint-Thomas. Born in Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Noé and the late Alvina (Goguen) Girouard. Prior to her retirement, Elise was the owner of a Wedding Boutique in Waltham, Ma. Elise was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She leaves to mourn several nieces and nephews. Elise was predeceased by four sisters; Odélie, Christine, Ida and Eugénie and four brothers; Olivier, Albert, Clorice and Edouard (Eddie).
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’église in Bouctouche, on Saturday, October 18th, 2014 from 9:00 to 10:45am. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, on Saturday, October 18 at 11:00am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In Elise’s memory a donation can be made to the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Bouctouche.
