MOWATT, RONALD - Ronald Ashley Mowatt of Chipman passed away peacefully, at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Thursday, October 16th, 2014 at 72 years of age. Ronald was born on November 8th, 1941 son of the Late Ashley Mowatt and Helen (Wry) Northrup. He is survived by his children, Shelley (Steven) LeBlanc, Tammy (Zane) Fulton, Vicki Richardson, Stacy (Stan) Dykeman; sisters, Geraldine Shirley and Linda (Keith) Murray; brothers, Garnet (Kaye) Mowatt and Barry (Bonnie McNeil) Northrup; grandchildren, Heather, Michelle, Kyle, Gregory, Travis, Chrissy, Tristan and ShayLynn; great-grandchildren, Megan, Jason and Garrett and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his faithful canine companion, Becky. Predeceased by his wife, Diane, grandson, Daniel.
An informal Celebration of Ronald’s life will be held from the Chipman Funeral Home Ltd. Chapel on Saturday, October, 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive comfort at the Funeral home on Friday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Interment will take place in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
