Frederick John 'Freddy' Langer

It is with broken hearts that we the family of Fredrick Langer, announce his passing at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, on Oct. 18, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in New Waterford, he was the son of the late Fredrick Langer and Renee (Feit) Langer.
Freddie is survived by his mother Renee Langer (John James), his companion and soul mate Marilyn Graham, daughter Carmella (Archie) and son William 'Billy' (Ashley), sister Mary Alice (Tom), Brother Billy, also grandchildren Joshua Langer, and Hunter Deathridge, also many nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, he is predeceased by his brother Kevin 'Nipper', brother-in-law, Mick. Also both paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation for Freddie will be held on Wednesday Oct. 22, 2014, from 12-2 p.m. at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel,564 Alexandra St., Sydney, with funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating.
Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Center, or the Palliative Care Unit.
