It is with great sadness the family of Doris Alene Davis age 85 announce her passing on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Cumberland Regional Health Centre, Upper Nappan surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Amherst, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Bessie (Stiles) Davis.
She was a member of Immanuel United Church, Amherst.
Doris will be remembered by nephew Keith (Jean) Davis of Port Howe, NS, Robert (Laura) Gould of Cambridge, ON, Russy (Marg) Gould of Saskatoon, SK, Ricky (Jackie) Gould of Rostern, SK, Roxanne Goodwin of Truro, NS, Rachel of Annapolis Valley, NS and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by sisters Audrey Colborne, twins Ruth Gould-Nichols and Betty in infancy, brothers Russell, George and Herbert Davis Jr.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 2 pm in Campbell’s Funeral Home, (98 Church St. Amherst, 667-9906) with Rev. Jean Ward officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris’s memory may be made to the Cancer Society or charity of choice.
