SKIDMORE, Olla Mae (Smith) ­ 90, Amherst, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2014 in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Montreal, she was a daughter of the late Hibbert and Nellie (Brown) Smith. She is survived by her son, Gary (Sharon), Herring Cove; siblings, Lester (Marion) Smith, Roger Hill, Pictou Co., Alma (Jim) Kenney, Halifax, Gloria (David) Chapman, James River, Antigonish; Carol Smith, Lakeville, and grandchildren, John, Jim, Tammy and Shawn. She was predeceased by her husband, John; sons, Jackie and Teddy; brother, Reginald Smith. Olla¹s family wishes to thank those nurses and doctors at the Infirmary who cared for her in such a dedicated, kind and professional manner.
