CAIRNS, DEE DEE - It is with great sadness the family of Dee Dee Cairns announce her passing, which occurred on October 21, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in St. Martins on September 12, 1947, she was a daughter of the late John and Edith (Yeomans) Cairns. She will be missed by her children; Frances Maxwell (Stephen), Edithann Smith (Ken Akerley), Bonnie Freake, and Bill Freake; her five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; her siblings, John Cairns (Gene), Shirley Beck, Barb Sweet, Jackie Lambert, Pat Perry (Don) and Val Cairns (Bob Williams); as well as many nieces nephews and extended family.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 2 to 8 pm. A celebration of Dee Dee’s life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:30 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel.
