With broken hearts we announce that our beautiful sister Anita Faith has passed away on Oct. 22, 2014.
Born in Sydney on April 21, 1957, she lived most of her life on 19 Rosary Dr., Westmount, then moving to Rotary Drive.
Faith was the daughter of the late John D. and Dorothy MacGillivary.
Faith is survived by two sisters, Hope (Jim) and Charmaine; brother, Albert; nephews, Clint (Belinda), Joe, Garrie (Tracey and Lorraine), Clayton (Nicki); grandnieces, Krysta, Jessica and Leah; grandnephews, Morgan and Kaleb. Faith is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, Faith was predeceased by sister, Darlene; brother, Jackie; grandparents, Emanuel and Georgina Anderson.
Our Faith never saw people as strangers, only friends she hadn’t met yet.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service to be held on Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Westmount.
Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Palliative Care Unit will be greatly appreciated.
