MacFARLANE, RONALD EUGENE - Ronald E. MacFarlane of Temperance Vale, NB passed away October 28, 2014 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Ronald was born in 1951, a son of Flossie (Larter) MacFarlane and the late Gerald MacFarlane. He was a loving caring husband, father and grandfather with a tender heart. Ronald is survived by his children, Monica Buotte (Yves), Moncton, NB and Ronald Craig MacFarlane (Lori Lynn), Saint John, NB; a granddaughter, Melody Doiron (Chase); his mother, Flossie of Temperance Vale, NB; a sister, Sandra Lenentine (Larry), Royal Road, NB; a brother, Dalton MacFarlane (Elinor), Fredericton, NB; several brothers and sisters-in-law in the Cloutier family; an uncle and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins; his dog and best friend, Maggie. He was predeceased by his wife, Karen (Cloutier) MacFarlane; his father, Gerald; his parents-in-law, Hide and Rita Cloutier and by a nephew Trent Lenentine.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Legere officiating. Interment will take place later at Holy Cross Cemetery in Saint John, NB.
