It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Amelia Shave of Burin announces her passing Tuesday October 14 , 2014 at Burin Peninsula Health Care Center, Burin at the age of 96 years.
Leaving to mourn son Sterling (Mildred); daughters Donna (Roland), Eloise (Lyndon); step-sons Harvey (Belle), Raymond (Susan); grandchildren Melanie, Krista, Brian, Chelcy, Stevey; great-grandchildren Elizabeth and Samuel; brother Joseph; sister Della; plus many nieces and nephews and a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by Husband Captain Raymond Shave; Step-son Paul; Step-daughter Greta; Parents Fred and Elizabeth Appleby; Brothers Fred, William and Thomas Appleby; Sister Thelma.
Rev. Hubert F. Tucker officiated Funeral Service from Zion Union Church, Collins Cove , Saturday, October 18th at 11am interment followed at Zion United Cemetery, Collins Cove.
Pall Bearer was her son Sterling Shave.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Burin.
