On August 13th 1944, Harry married Mary Truba, and together they farmed at Strong Pine from 1944 to 1956 when they moved to Prince Albert. His family was his pride and joy. He will be lovingly remembered for all the help he gave his children over the years and for all the family gatherings in his home where he entertained children and adults alike with wine, music and stories. He is known as an active volunteer in his community. A devout Catholic, he was for many years active in the affairs of St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. He was a member of the Church Choir, and served as Cantor. He served at hundreds of funerals and other services. Harry was a musician. His greatest joy occurred when a young person came to choose his or her own violin. Harry lived his life with dignity and grace and left it in the same manner. He will be dearly missed by his family.
