Charles Calder Frost passed away in Lindsay, Ont. on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014.
Born April 18, 1933, in Glace Bay, N.S., he was predeceased by his parents, Arthur George Frost and Mary Cecilia Johnson; his siblings, Florence (Dixie) Dobson, Alma Grundy, Fabian Frost, Arthur (Jack) Frost, Roy Frost, his first wife June Pridham, and nephew Nicholas Frenette.
Charlie leaves his wife of 22 years Margaret Smail Frost and her children, Jo-Anne, Jim and Joe Smail. He will be greatly missed by relatives in Nova Scotia, Arthur Frost and wife Helen; Mary-Ann and Andy Spears; Jo-Anne and her son, Jared Frenette.
As a young man, Charlie was a member of the Military Reserve as well as the Canadian Provost Corps Association. Known as the “Big Bunny” at many children’s events for The Canadian Progress Club Toronto North-East, Charlie prided his accomplishments as president. The Kitchener Cameron Heights Kiwanis Club recognized his dedication with the honour of Distinguished President. Chuck touched the lives of so many people.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
