The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, of Barry Verner Norring of Kensington and formerly of Borden-Carleton, aged 67 years. Barry was born in Cape Traverse to his late parents Verner and Joyce (nee Tyler) Norring. Beloved husband of Paula (nee Martin) Norring and loving father of Chris, Adam and Jason and stepfather of Leonard, Paul, Tanya, Serena and Daniel. Also lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his favourite dog and best friend Sassy. Survived by his brother and sisters: JoAnn (Brian), Burton (Donna) and Susan (Larry). Besides his parents, Barry was predeceased by his brother Roy. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Tuesday, Nov. 4, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley, at a later date. Memorial donations in Barry’s memory to the P.E.I. Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
