It is with saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Gordon Wallace Penney, age 91, at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on October 25, 2014. Predeceased by parents, William E. and Sarah Penney; wife, Harriet Mae; son, Kevin and infant son, Reginald Wayne. Leaving to mourn are his son, Gary; daughter, Jackie (John Harvey); daughter-in-law, Yvonne Collins; grandchildren, Krista, Mark, Brian, Jayde, Mitchel, Jennifer and Daniel; great grandchildren, Brianna and Isabella and other relatives and friends. Rested at the St. John the Divine Anglican Church, Cannings Cove from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Isaac Hutchings, took place on October 28, 2014 with internment following.
