It is with great sadness that the family of the late Patrick Brake of Marystown announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Thursday, October 30th, 2014, at the age of 80. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughter, Elizabeth (Eric Gagnon) of Williamstown, ON; sister, Dora Pittman of Creston North; 3 grandchildren: Samuel Murphy, Ryan Murphy & Shelby-Marie Gagnon; plus a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel & Annie May Brake; wife, Agatha Brake; sister, Theresa Flynn and brother, Benedict Brake. The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday, November 3rd, at 2:00 p.m., from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown. Interment followed at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in Marystown. In Patrick’s memory donations may be made to the Dialysis Unit at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre or flowers gratefully accepted.
