KNOX, GWENDOLYN KATHRYN - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Gwendolyn Kathryn (Haynes) Knox, on November 17, 2014 of Woodstock, NB, at the age of 86 following her battle with Pleural Mesothelioma (Asbestos Lung Disease). She was born in Perth Andover, NB on September 6th, 1928, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Beatrice (MacIntosh) Haynes. Predeceased by her first husband, Murray John Clarke, and siblings Flora Swanson (Harry), Buddy Haynes (Veronica), Perley Haynes (Margaret), Ernest Haynes (Eileen), Ruby Bourgoyne (Fred), Alton Haynes (Helen), Floyd Haynes (Margaret), William Haynes (Rowena), infant brothers Claire Haynes and Douglas Haynes, step-sons Steven Knox (Diane) and Perry Knox. She is lovingly survived by husband Paul Knox, son Ronald Clarke (Linda) of Guelph, ON., daughters Sheila Daly (Richard) of Winnipeg, MB., Valerie Stanger (Patrick) of Winnipeg, MB., Deborah Hackenschmidt (Joseph) of Guelph, ON., Linda Demchuk (Kevin) of White City, SK., Susan Findlater (Dwayne) of Rothesay, NB., Mary-Lee Clarke of Ottawa, ON., sister Shirley Sawler (Eric) of Lantz, NS., step-sons Stuart Knox (Brenda) of Millville, NB. and Charles Knox (Merna) of Fredericton, NB. and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home 815 Main Street Woodstock with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 2 pm from the Wesleyan Church in Jacksonville, NB. Rev. Dale MacDonald officiating with internment in the Woodstock Rural cemetery.
