MacLEOD, ARNOLD - At Lincourt Manor, St Stephen, NB, November 19, 2014, Arnold Ralph MacLeod. Husband of Margaret (Hyslop) MacLeod and son of the late Daniel and Emma (Trundle) MacLeod. As a farmer, Arnold, gave more than just the fruits of his labour, he drove the school bus, served in the Army Reserves, and shared his leadership skills with 4-H, NB Jersey Club, NB Egg Marketing Board, Canadian Egg Marketing, Masonic Lodge, Order of Eastern Star and many other local community organizations. He was a member of the Tower Hill United Church. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret, children; Carol Sutherland (Ronnie), Anne McConkey (Donnie), George MacLeod (Mary Anne) and Robert MacLeod (Alana), grandchildren; Angie, Lisa, Kevin, David, Paul Michael, Virginia, Daniel, Margaret, Katherine, Matthew, Elizabeth and Tristan, thirteen great grandchildren, two brothers; Carl MacLeod (Eva) and Bill MacLeod (Sue), son-in-law, Vernon Lister (Sue), sister-in-law, Marlene Campbell, brothers-in-law, Earl Masters and Chester Hyslop (Georgie). Predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Emma MacLeod, daughter, Patricia Lister, sister, Danena Masters, brother-in-law, Sidney Hyslop, sister-in-law, Eunice Merrithew (Arthur).
Resting at The S. O. Mehan & Son funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 2 PM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 21, 2014 from 7 to 9 PM and Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 12 to 2 PM. Sussex Lodge #7 F & AM will hold a tribute service at the funeral home on Friday at 6:30 PM, followed by St Stephen Chapter #8 O.E.S. at 6:45 PM.
