Francois "Frank" LeBlanc
LeBLANC, FRANCOIS "FRANK" - 1923 - 2014 - Francois "Frank" LeBlanc, 91, of Notre-Dame, passed away at the CHU Georges-L-Dumont in Moncton, on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. He was married to Jeannita (Babineau) LeBlanc. Born in Notre-Dame, he was the son of the late Blair and the late Elodie (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Francois was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Department of Transport. He served in WW11 from 1943-1946 with the North Shore Regiment. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeannita, his children; Yvette Girouard( René) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Huberte Maillet (Robert) of Grand Barachois, Denise Landry (Paul) of Moncton, Joanne Gagnon (Jean) of Quebec City, Jean-Paul (Simonne) of Cocagne, Yvon (Jeanne) of Morinville, AB, Ronald (Louise) of Bouctouche, Michel (Murielle) of Dartmouth, his daughter-in-law, Fédora, his sixteen grandchildren and his eight great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his sisters; Louise Bourgeois, Yvonne Bourgeois (Odule), Germaine Léger, all of Grande-Digue, Sarah Goguen of Notre-Dame and Sr Elnora LeBlanc of Conception Bay, NL, his brothers; Thomas and Blair (Aurelda), both of Notre-Dame and several nieces and nephews. Francois was predeceased by a son, Robert (2005), a sister, Rita and two brothers; Léo and Laurie.
Visitations will be held in the Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room in Notre-Dame, on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 1 to 2:45pm. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Notre-Dame Church, on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 3:00pm. In Francois’s memory a donation can be made to the Tree of Hope Campaign.
