It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bertha King announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center in Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday November 19th 2014 at the age of 71 years. She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Wayne (Sylvia) in Stephenville Crossing, Rodney (Patricia) in Ontario. Also leaving to mourn her brother Carl (Yvonne) in Mattis Point, her sister Madonna (Greg) Hawkins in Stephenville Crossing, five grandchildren: Michael (Stacey), Tracy (Brian), Donovan (Sandra Perrier), Tiffany Young and Robbie Rose, three great-grandchildren: Ava, Adison and Weston and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her daughters: Dianna, Diane and Sandra, two grandchildren: Tanya Young and Nathan King, brothers: Vincent, Raymond, Joseph and Michael and her sisters: Alice, Marjorie, Mildred and Mary. Visitation will take place on Sunday November 23rd, 2014 from 2-4 from Russell’s Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing. Funeral services will take place on Monday November 24th 2014 at 10:30 a.m. from Assumption Parish in Stephenville Crossing with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Mattis Point.
