Leonard Leblanc
LEBLANC, LEONARD - 1929-2014 - Leonard Leblanc, 85, of Bouctouche, passed away at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, on Wednesday November 19, 2014.He was married to Anita (Mills) LeBlanc. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Arcade and the late Agnes ( Gaines ) LeBlanc. Prior to his retirement Leonard was employed as a welder. He was also a Korean War Veteran. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Anita, his daughter, Rose-May Darling (Michael) of Bouctouche Bay, his three sons; Roger of Pointe du Chene, Jean-Claude of Toronto and Paul (Marion) of Truro, his nine grandchildren and his four great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn a sister, Evelin Nowlan (Albert) of Waltham and one brother, Fred of Moncton and several nieces and nephews. Leonard was predeceased by a daughter, Linda (2012), a daughter-in-law, Bonnie, a sister, Florence and three brothers; Eddie, Edgar and Alvin.
Visitations will be held at the Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de l’Église in Bouctouche, on Sunday November 23, 2014 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm and on Monday from 10:30 to 11:45am. The Funeral Mass will be held in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church in Bouctouche, on Monday November 24,2014 at 12:00pm. In memory of Leonard a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home in Bouctouche. www.mailletfuneralhome.ca
