ANDERSON, RONALD - The death of Ronald Thomas Anderson, age 99, of Shannon, NB, formerly of West Saint John, NB, husband of the late Clara (Amero) Anderson, occurred at Great Oaks Special Care Home on Friday, November 21, 2014. He was born on December 8, 1914 in Saint John, NB, a son of the late Arnold and Ellen (Berg) Anderson. Ron was the proud owner of Ron’s Diner at the Saint John Winter Port. He is survived by his sons Ronald Anderson of Saint John, NB, Brian Anderson and his wife Pat of Saint John, NB; sister Ella Maxwell of Chilliwack, BC and eleven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Dianna Blanchard and his son Victor Anderson.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre, (506) 839-2156, 18 Scovil Road, Norton, with visiting on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 11:00am to noon. Funeral Service, conducted by Rev. John Carroll, will begin at noon from Sherwood’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, West Saint John.
